What people ask before they start.
Why doesn't the Solo method use the word "governance"?
On purpose. Solo covers what data governance covers, such as who owns each rule, what counts as good data, how problems are raised and decided, and how the work is reported. It does this through the plain words of the work, such as rules, owners, the queue and checks. Named governance, it can feel like one more task beside the real work. In Solo it is the work itself. In the method's own texts, which are the playbook, the canvas and the published use cases and agent templates, the word appears only in the firm name, LuAir Governance, and in its slogan "Governance, installed."
Is Solo only for data problems?
No. A node is built around one piece of work and the data it depends on. That work can be data quality, the ownership of data rules, or any other business process, such as claims, onboarding or finance operations. The same seven capabilities apply to every kind of work.
What does Solo cost?
The method is free. The Solo Playbook and the Node Canvas can be downloaded and used without paying anything. When you want a coach, a pace and a certified graduation, the Coached Install is $20,000 for a Role node, from $20,000 for a Team node, and priced to its circle for a Department node. Ongoing services for a graduated node are optional and priced on request.
Can an AI agent run a node?
Yes. The canvas that tells a person how to run a node also works as an agent's instructions. A Role node that runs well can hand its operator role to an AI agent, the Agent Upgrade, under the same rules and a named human orchestrator. Node Zero, the intake behind this site, is run by an AI agent as its operator and is published in full.
Will we depend on LuAir after the install?
No. Every Coached Install is designed to end. Your node graduates when it runs on real work without us, proven by seven proofs witnessed on real work, and your sponsor signs the graduation. After that the node needs nothing from us. The ongoing services are there only if you want them.
